If you are planning a wedding in the French countryside, with all the trimmings, then Chez Vallée is the ideal venue. A beautifully restored French Petit Chateau set amongst the Cognac vines with accommodation for twenty five guests, we would love to be the host for your special day.
Chez Vallée is the perfect blank canvas for your wedding. We are a “dry-hire” event venue, meaning that we host you and leave you free to organise your wedding celebrations just the way you would like it. We have hosted many weddings over the last decade and, if desired, can provide recommendations for all the various suppliers you may need for your wedding celebration. From catering to cakes, from music to memories, from drivers to DJs, from planning to partying…
We have a Charentaise Grange that can comfortably seat 60 people, or you can dine under the stars in our secluded courtyard. We have a large adjoining hall that many couples have used as a dedicated entrance for their guests, we have a dance floor in the courtyard and can accommodate a live band or DJ – or both! The main garden, with its stunning old oak tree is ideal for the ceremony you may be planning and the pool is perfect for the pool party the following day.
There are accessible rooms, many different types of configurations, including a detached chalet – often used as a bridal suite, given its location on the edge of the woods, slightly away from the main house. Chez Vallée is ideal for family, friends or both!
Each bride is unique in what she wants to make her special day just that, special, but we would be happy to share the experiences of previous set ups – welcome drinks in the pool house, the ceremony under the oak in the main garden, photoshoot in the vines, drinks and dinner in the courtyard, live music on the dance floor, relaxing in the grange and so on. The options are many and varied, but the choices to make your special day perfect are yours!
Our 4-night package is as follows:
- Dry-hire event venue
- Up to 60 guests maximum at the main event
- Up to 25 guests can be accommodated on-site for 4 nights
- Exclusive use of the entire property
- Tables and chairs are provided
- Lights, barrels and other wedding props can also be supplied
Corkage is complimentary on all beverages
This package is priced at £9,500.
A full list of local suppliers (including local vineyards as well as Pineau and Cognac suppliers), based on many years experience, can be provided upon receipt of the 30% deposit. The second payment, 40%, is due nine months before the date and the final balance payment, 30%, is due three months prior to arrival.
